Asics Gel-Cumulus 16 Cocoa Powder / Black

The Asics Gel-Cumulus 16 in Cocoa Powder / Black is one of the most layered and visually rich colorways of the Gel-Cumulus 16 reissue. The warm Cocoa Powder upper, a muted brown shade somewhere between cocoa and taupe, combines with anthracite grey and black overlays for an earthy yet complex color palette. The metallic pink-mauve Asics stripe on the side panel is the most striking detail and breaks up the dark composition with an unexpected touch of luxury.

Glossy dark brown patent-like panels on the side and heel give the shoe extra texture and depth, while the visible gold-colored GEL cushioning in the midsole nods to the performance heritage of this model. The segmented black outsole and midsole keep the overall look grounded. A retro runner for those who prefer complexity over the obvious.
