The upper is a direct nod to the GEL-1050 from 2000, but has received a premium update with high-quality suede overlays for a refined, modern finish. The 'Gravel / Piedmont Grey' colorway gives the shoe a timeless, industrial aesthetic that effortlessly complements any urban outfit.
Under the hood, the Gel-Nyc 2.0 has been completely overhauled. The newly designed tooling references both the GEL-1050 and the legendary outsole of the GEL-LYTE DS II. Thanks to the advanced combination of FF BLAST PLUS™ cushioning, the renowned GEL™ technology, and TRUSSTIC™ support units, this midsole feels significantly lighter and more comfortable than the first version.
